Adult Choir
Would you like to be part of the musical scene here at Beth Emeth? We have a number of ways to make that possible.
To begin with, come to services. Sing with the congregation. Add your strength to ours as we sing the ancient words of our people with traditional chants and modern melodies.
Do you play an instrument? In recent months it has been a pleasure to see Rob Futterman at our Friday evening service, on occasion, sitting in with Mr. Rosenberry and doing a great job with his bass guitar. I’m sure there are places and pieces within our service in which you might use your talent to make our service even more beautiful.
There is also our Temple band. Depending upon which instrument you play, the band may well be a good way for you to share your talents with us.
Of course, we must not forget the Volunteer Chorale. Having just completed our annual Chanukah program, we are beginning to look forward to some spring activities. This would be a great time to get started as part of our wonderful choir which adds so much to our musical life at Beth Emeth.
Whether you are a singer or an instrumentalist, please do not feel that you need to be ready for a Carnegie Hall recital, in order to be ready for us.
Interested? Please contact me at Temple 436-9761 ext. 226. Music is always provided in advance, sight playing or singing, is not necessary.
Harmoniously yours,
Cantor Glenn Groper
