Teen Travel - A Discussion with Rabbi Ross

8:00 - 9:00 PM - To Religious School Families of Grades 8, 9, 10 and 11:
Synagogue teen travel can make an important contribution to the spiritual and overall development of our youth. We will be talking about a number of opportunities for the year 2012 to 13 at an this meeting, immediately after Confirmation and Bonim sessions. Teens and parents are invited.

We are considering a number of possibilities:
* New Orleans rebuilding through the Jewish community
* A Southern Civil Rights Journey (Atlanta, Montgomery, Selma and Birmingham) and the roles Jews played in the movement
Jewish New York City
* Religious Advocacy in Washington, DC, with the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism, including meetings with policy shapers on Capitol Hill.

Our meeting will cover some of the logistical and financial needs and I would appreciate your thoughts. Could you let me know if you are able to attend the meeting, or, if you can't make it, if you would be interested in getting more information? Contact me -
